Rehabilitation Technology Services (RTS)

WTC provides a variety of assistive technology services to assist individuals with disabilities at WTC, as well as in the community. 

AT Assessments, Training & Tech Support Services assist a consumer with determining the potential need for and benefit from computer-based and other assistive technology, as well as provide training on specific hardware, software & tech support to consumers who receive assistive technology. 

Worksite Services encompasses the same type of assessments, training and technical support with a focus on assisting the consumer with performing the essential functions of the job. 

Computer Skills Training teaches consumers basic computer literacy skills and keyboarding in preparation for employment. 

The Home Modifications Program is designed to evaluate and facilitate the consumer’s access to their home where barriers exist, such as: bathroom accessibility, home entry and exit. 

Specialized services are also available for consumers who are blind/visually impaired, as well as for consumers with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
