The Business Relations Branch reviews and supports businesses and organizations to ensure DORS job seekers achieve Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE).

Businesses must meet three criteria for CIE:

  • Competitive wages,
  • An integrated work location, and
  • Opportunities for advancement.

Help Stop Fraud in State Government

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources. Information reported to the hotline in the past has helped to eliminate certain fraudulent activities and protect State resources.

For the Federal fiscal year 2024, the total amount of grant funds awarded was $60,204,299.
The remaining 21.3% of the costs ($14,999,444) were funded by State appropriations.
