Workforce & Technology Center

​The Workforce & Technology Center (WTC) is located in northeast Baltimore, Maryland, on Argonne Drive between Hillen and Harford Roads. WTC is a neighbor to Morgan State University, next to its Murphy Fine Arts Center. WTC has a 21-acre campus site which includes a small park, tastefully landscaped grounds and free parking on the campus for consumers, staff and visitors. The WTC facility is situated on the MTA bus line and is approximately five miles south of the Baltimore Beltway.

WTC is fully accessible with a main entrance on Argonne Drive and a second street-front entrance, which is also fully accessible, in the Rehabilitation Technology Services and DORS Headquarters Wing. The facility also has other accessible entrances from the parking lot areas. WTC is one of the few state facilities that is fully accessible to all disability groups. CARF surveyors have recognized WTC’s physical accessibility and plant as being outstanding.

The physical layout of WTC includes the main building, the adjoining Rehabilitation Technology Services and DORS Headquarters Wing, and the Automotive Center Annex. Within WTC are numerous meeting and training rooms, as well as a fully accessible auditorium and numerous ADA regulation restrooms.

Tours of WTC are provided two times per week for the general public and community.  Specialized tours are provided for transitioning students, families, school personnel, disability-specific groups community groups; international guests, rehabilitation professionals, diplomats and elected officials.
