Effective July 1, 2025, DORS will conclude its Maryland Accessible Telecommunications (MAT) Rehabilitation Specialist program that used independent contractors to provide training assistance on MAT devices for individuals who are blind, deaf/blind, or have low vision.
RSM 5, Section 200: Vendor Fees has been updated accordingly, and the
MAT Rehabilitation Specialist Factsheet and list of
DORS-Approved MAT Specialists have been removed from the
Blind & Low Vision Resources.

Physician Program Manager I (DDS)
Nature of Work: This position serves as chief of psychiatry and psychological services. The chief psychiatrist must plan and supervise the work of Psychologist Services Chief, psychiatrists, and psychologists as they interpret electronic medical evidence, prescribe medical evaluation needs and participate as the medical examiner in the adjudication of disability claims within the Social Security Disability Program. The role coordinates the work of the psychologists and psychiatrists in the agency in terms of their overall productivity, quality and training. WTC Apprenticeship Consult Services program information has been updated.
An
Apprenticeship Resources page has been created in the
RESOURCES section. The first item added is the
WTC Apprenticeship Services Information Session (January 16, 2025) presentation slides.
The following WTC documents have been updated to add Michele Pinto as the new Risk Manager.
The
WTC Forms Library has been updated with a revised version of the
Weather Closure & Delay Information (WTC-2a) factsheet (formerly titled Inclement Weather Information). The existing Spanish language version of this document has been removed from the Library, awaiting translation of the new version.

DORS Official Directive 24-07 announces the creation of a portal for staff to use if contacted by any member of the General Assembly, their staff, or the Department of Legislative Services in order to forward the information to the proper channels.
