Wage Reimbursement for On-the-Job Training (OJT)

The Wage Reimbursement program offers Short/Long-Term On-the-Job Training (OJT) to businesses. Hire a qualified DORS job seeker and we will reimburse you for employee wages while they train:

  • Short-term OJT (one month) - Up to 100% salary reimbursement.
  • Long-term OJT (up to four months) - Gradually decreasing reimbursement as the employee as the employee becomes more skilled and independent.

The Vocational Rehabilitation program receives 78.7% of its funding through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
For the Federal fiscal year 2024, the total amount of grant funds awarded was $51,885,242.
The remaining 21.3% of the costs ($15,395,878) were funded by State appropriations.
