Service area: Providing services to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing consumers Statewide.
Travel Fee: Bell Davis is approved to receive a travel fee of $35 per hour when providing specialized VR in-person services to individuals who are deaf/hard of hearing outside of Region 6. (See the Vocational Interpreter (VI) Services section below for VI travel fee information.)
The VR travel fee must be:

Pre-Authorized by the DORS counselor, and
- Applied to an individual who is deaf/hard of hearing and receiving in-person VR services
who cannot be served by another provider in their Region.
Counselors are to use Google Maps to determine the time that will be authorized for travel to and from locations outside of Region 6.
Note: Bell Davis has developed an alternate reporting instrument that meets all of the criteria on the Training Progress Report and is approved to use it in place of DORS form RS-7c. Bell Davis also has an alternate form used to report progress in their Financial Literacy program.
