DORS offers a wide variety of programs and services that help Maryland citizens who have disabilities get ready for work and independence.
DORS staff have specialized training to work with people with a variety of disabilities, including:
blindness and vision loss
,
deafness and hearing loss
,
deaf-blindness
,
autism
,
acquired brain injury
,
serious mental illness
, and most other disabilities.
DORS also has specialized services for
students ages 14 - 21
who have disabilities and people who want to be self-employed.
