DORS Gets You Ready to Work!

DORS Workforce & Technology Services are offered in your community, on the campus of the Workforce & Technology Center (WTC), and virtually. The WTC campus is located in northeast Baltimore. Job seekers who are using services at WTC can stay in the onsite dorms or commute to their classes.

In addition, the DORS Office for Blindness & Vision Services offers specialized services at WTC for consumers who are blind or visually impaired.

CARF Accreditation

WTC has again received a three-year Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredidation.

WTC has been accredited by CARF since 1985 and the current accreditation extends through April of 2027.
CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.



The Vocational Rehabilitation program receives 78.7% of its funding through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
For the Federal fiscal year 2024, the total amount of grant funds awarded was $51,885,242.
The remaining 21.3% of the costs ($15,395,878) were funded by State appropriations.
